Shutter Island

Hi! I hope that you are well. Today I write about my favourite movie because I didn’t watch “Suffragette” movie, I want to watch it.

So, I write about “Shutter Island”, really this isn’t my favourite movie but it is very interesting and I love this movie. My favourite character is Teddy, this is the main character of this movie, performed by Leonardo DiCaprio, this person thought that he was a detective and he had a companion called Chuck Ale and his mission was to find a woman called Rachel Solando , but later he realize that his reality is fake.

I don’t have a favourite scene; I like the process when I understood that Teddy really is a patient of Psychiatric Hospital Ashecliff and Rachel was his wife, she died before of all this because I love how the movie took an unexpected turn, I love movies that make me think and that aren’t predictable. And this part when he was very sad because he remembers who is Rachel and remembers his sons, is a part of movie that I didn’t like, his suffering makes me sad. And things that I like of the movie were the hallucination because it warns me that something was wrong.

My favourite vacation

Hi everyone! Today I write about my favourite vacations or my favourite concert but I prefer to write about my favourite vacations because I went to a concert only one time so I can't compare. Well, the last summer with my dad, my mom and my brother,we  went to the south of Chile, between “La Araucania” region and “Los Lagos” region. We were 2 weeks in the south of Chile, in “Frutillar” one week and the other week we went to many places.

We went to many lakes because there are many lakes and are beautiful with its environment, the animals, plants and other things and we swam in there. Also, I have family in these places and we visited them, we ate too much food and talked until dawn

The last summer was my favourite vacation because I love so much my family and we had a great time together, as well as they are very funny haha and long time ago we didn’t  go alone in vacations. Besides I love the south of Chile is beautiful and I knew new places of there that I didn’t visit before.

Blog 1: Italy

Hi everyone! My name is Vanessa Ponce.

I always wanted to visit Italy, because I read Italy is beautiful and I love its language, I don’t know why, maybe because the language is soft and melodious.  

I want to know all that I can know for the time that I stay there. For example I must taste its typical food, such as the pasta, the risotto and the pizzas! Also I want to know the art of there; I want to go to museums and see the architecture. I need to know the “Mona Lisa” and “David” of Miguel Angel.

I would like go to Rome, it call the eternity city and visit “the Coliseum” and go for a walk pantheon. But I would love to  go to Venice and go up in a gondola. And I want to swim in its beaches. 

I would like only visit Italy, I don’t want to live or work there, because my family is in Chile and I will miss so much. But if I knew how to speak Italian, I would like to study here to learn more about the culture of it.
